Producing wine in Bulgaria is a centuries-old tradition dating back to the times of the Thracian civilization. The magnificent gold treasures found in different parts of Bulgaria consisting of sophisticated and amazingly decorated amphoras, rhytons and jugs is an evidence of the important role wine had for the Thracians. They were famous wine producers and Homer testifies their wine was also known for giving strength.
Over the centuries Bulgarians preserved this heritage of the ancient Thracians and wine had always been closely linked with their culture and traditions.
Bulgaria has an unique combination of climate, soil and landscape that provides for excellent conditions for growing vineyards. Today’s Bulgarian wine industry is inspired by its long tradition and for the past 10-15 years has undergone a real revolution.
The event offers you an excellent opportunity to taste some top quality wines produced by Bulgarian wineries such as
Karnobat, Zagreus Parvomay, Lovico-Lozari Suhindol, BoyArt Pomorie, Villa Yustina, Midalidare, Terra Tangra, Burgozone, Mavrud, Melnik 55, Rubin, Gamza, Ruen (the reds) and Dimyat, Misket, Tamyanka, Buket, SIS ( Minkov brothers), Eduardo Miroglio wine cellar, Santa Sarah, Logodaj, Vinex Slavyantsi,…
