Lung cancer is Europe’s biggest cancer killer. The Economist Intelligence Unit made a comparative analysis of lung cancer policies across Europe. The first wave of the study presented at the first European Cancer Forum in December 2018 in Brussels, looked at 11 countries – Austria, Belgium, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The indicators of the report were categorized into five domains related to awareness, prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and care. Find out more about the latest data, as well as the results from 16 additional European countries at the Media Roundtable on 27 January 2020 from 15:00, at the Press Club on Rue Froissart 95 in Brussels.
This Media Roundtable is organised exclusively for journalists to get a preview of the latest results from the lung cancer study from The Economist Intelligence Unit. You can send in your questions in advance by replying to this email.
