The European Foundation for Democracy cordially invites you to an in-person briefing on the situation in Darfur.
As violence escalates in the West Darfur region of Sudan, the silence of European media and of the public street sounds ominously loud.
Last week’s massacre, described by the EU as a “wider ethnic cleansing campaign conducted by the RSF”, the Sudanese-Arab militia, is far from the minds of European media, activists and policymakers.
The briefing seeks to analyse and provide facts about the violence in Sudan and what Europeans can do to support civilians and prevent further violence.
M’backé N’diaye‘s work focuses on geopolitics, history of religions and the Sahel region. He holds a degree in law and political science from Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar, Senegal
