EU book launch on autism: “From the Dark into the Light – How I came to see the Positive Side of Autism”
Ask yourself what you know about autism or if you met an autistic person?
What do you know about the challenges of an autistic person?
Whether you know a lot, a little or nothing at all, you might be interested to hear that an autistic man in his twenties with English and German roots just published a fascinating personal account of living with autism. In his book he describes the ups and downs of his transformation from being an anxious schoolboy, through a turbulent adolescence to becoming an award-winning entrepreneur. He writes about his joy and grief, his unique experiences – such as work experience at a Formula One team or trying his hand at being a racing driver – and finding himself utterly uncomfortable in dating situations.
We have asked him to come to Brussels for the EU launch of his book – as part of the Autism Awareness Month – and you are cordially invited:
