PILOT4DEV invites you to a “Hybrid workshop on Climate Adaptation and the Preservation and Restoration of Coastal Ecosystems”. The workshop focuses on preserving and restoring marine coastal ecosystems, specifically focusing on the pioneering efforts of the Adapt’ Island project.
Background:
The Adapt’ Island initiative, co-funded by the EU, has been led by the G.P.M.G. Guadeloupe Harbour since 2019. The Initiative seeks to revitalise eco-systems, corals, and mangroves across an expansive 8000 ha maritime zone in Guadeloupe. Beyond restoration, this project is poised to establish effective methodologies for replication in other territories.
