The Belgian Federal Government, the Brussels-Capital Region and the European Commission are jointly launching “Cinquantenaire 2030”: a new master plan and cultural interpretation for the Parc du Cinquantenaire in Brussels.  

Horizon 50-200 ASBL is pleased to invite you to the press conference dedicated to the launch of the Cinquantenaire 2030 project. This press conference will take place on Thursday 20 April at 10:00 am at the Royal Museum of Art and History.

Federal Ministers Karine Lalieux and Ludovine Dedonder, State Secretaries Mathieu Michel and Thomas Dermine, Brussels Minister-President Rudi Vervoort and European Commissioner Johannes Hahn jointly launched the F2030 project on Thursday 20 April. The horizon is 2030: this year, Belgium will celebrate its bicentenary.

During the press conference, the speakers will explain their projects for the park and its institutions and museums: the Museum of Art and History, the Army Museum, the Royal Institute for Artistic Heritage and Autoworld.

Sophie Le Clercq, Chair of the Board of Directors of Horizon 50-200 ASBL, which is leading the “Cinquantenaire 2030” project, and CEO Paul Dujardin, will present the master plan and programming that will contribute to the transformation of the Cinquantenaire.  Arnaud Vajda, President of Belspo, will explain the importance of the project for federal scientific institutions.
