Event upon invitation only
The Center for Data Innovation’s private breakfast roundtable will be held from 08.30am to 10.00am next week Tuesday, March 12 at Press Club Brussels (Rue Froissart 95). We will serve light refreshments.
Kai-Uwe Kühn, Former Chief Competition Economist at the European Commission, Professor of Economics and Deputy Director at the Center for Competition Policy, will present on the subject of the future European competition policy for the digital economy, as views and perspectives are building up. We particularly hope to use this roundtable to continue the discussion on this critical, timely subject, focusing on competition issues arising from digital platforms, the impact of antitrust policy on AI and innovation, and the seemingly growing overlap between data protection and competition policy.
To encourage a thoughtful discussion and an interactive debate, we will observe Chatham House rules and keep all conversations off-the-record. There is no need for you to prepare formal remarks, as the format is meant to be informal and you should feel free to share your views. Participants will include academics, competition lawyers, policy officials from the European Commission, consultants, and industry representatives.
