India’s key opposition leader Mr Rahul Gandhi will be on a 5-day Europe tour, wherein he will be meeting lawmakers from the European Union in Brussels on the 7th of September. During the 5-day tour Mr Gandhi will also meet political leadership, academia, civil societies, and Indian diaspora in France, the Netherlands and Belgium.
Foundation The London Story (TLS), an Indian diaspora-led human rights organisation, has invited Mr Gandhi for a candid public conversation, wherein we aim to discuss Mr. Gandhi’s stance on human rights, democracy, digital India, and the future of India and EU. The event, “Strengthening EU-India Relations”, will be a moment to collectively reflect on the challenges that the two blocks face and the future of friendship built on shared values of democracy and human rights.
The event is open to the civil society organisations, and we will deeply appreciate your presence.
