Ninety members of the diplomatic corps, Press Club members and guests attended the introduction of the Club’s new Diplomatic Platform on March 9. Keynote speaker Mr. Alain Hutchinson, Commissioner of the Brussels Capital Region For Europe and International Organizations, welcomed the guests, including twenty Ambassadors and Heads of Mission. Club President Peter Kramer, Club Executive Director Laurent Brihay and Head of the Diplomatic Platform, Viktor Sidabras, showcased the Club’s agenda and explained the concept of this initiative to offer exclusive programming and networking opportunities for diplomatic members. Many attendees expressed interest in joining the Platform’s planned Board of Press Officers.
