THE AFRICAN DIASPORA AGROFOOD FORUM RETURNS TO THE CAPITAL OF EUROPE @TOUR&TAXISBrussels (20 September 2023) – The 7th Edition of the African Diaspora Agrofood Forum (ADAF2023) returns Brussels at Tour & Taxis from 20 – 22 October 2023’, featuring ‘Entrepreneurship through Transformative Sustainable Development’. The Food Bridge, organisers of the annual forum, will host a conference and several workshops on the first day, Friday, 20 October, that will provide a platform for beneficial exchanges between all stakeholders of the agro-food industry, including farmers, producers, entrepreneurs, importers, distributors, investors, service providers, international organisations and policy makers.
On the second and third day, Saturday, 21 and Sunday 22 October an agrofood exhibition will be held at the splendidly renovated Gare Maritime of Tours & Taxis with a great variety of stands that will showcase agro-food and beverage products as well as relevant food services.
The African Diaspora Agrofood Forum offers visitors of all ages with a unique opportunity to discover tropical food and beverage products and to learn about the processes that encompass the entire range of actors and their interlinked value-adding activities from ‘farm to fork’.
There will be dedicated culinary activities and information sessions throughout the exhibition that will allow visitors to savour African and Caribbean cuisine and drinks, and to experience cooking demonstrations, cocktail mixes and other products tastings over the weekend.
More than fifty African Diaspora entrepreneurs presented their products and projects at past editions of the African Diaspora Agrofood Forum and there will be even more panellists and exhibitors this year, including Belgian and other European companies, as well as multinationals that occupy the great space offered at Brussels’ Gare Maritime.
