On Thursday, in plenary, MEPs will debate how to combat the coronavirus pandemic and its consequences. To respond to the coronavirus crisis, the EPP Group adopted a European Solidarity Pact, consisting of immediate measures to beat the virus and mobilising over 1 trillion euro for an economic recovery plan. “Only with real solidarity and working together will we succeed in beating the coronavirus and become stronger against future similar crisis”, said Esteban González Pons MEP, Vice-Chairman of the EPP Group.
