Rural women should be supported to keep farming communities alive. That is the view of EPP Group MEP and farmer Maria Walsh, who says it’s time to end the stigma towards women in agriculture. The Irish MEP added that farmers have been doing ‘green policy’ for years, but need to be supported when it comes to making farms more sustainable in the years ahead.
