Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council (Energy), 19 June 2023
Ministers will seek a general approach on a reform of the EU electricity market design.
Under other business ministers will hear from the Commission on winter preparedness and on external energy relations.
Environment Council, 20 June 2023
EU environment ministers will seek a general approach on a proposal for a nature restoration regulation.
They will hold a policy debate on CO2 emission standards for heavy-duty vehicles, and on air quality.
Agriculture and Fisheries Council, 26-27 June 2023
Agriculture and fisheries ministers will meet in Luxembourg on 26-27 June where they will discuss the regulation on the sustainable use of plant protection products, the Common Fisheries Policy and fishing opportunities for 2024, and trade-related agricultural issues.
Foreign Affairs Council, 26 June 2023
The Foreign Affairs Council will discuss the Russian aggression against Ukraine, EU-Latin America and the Caribbean relations, and digital diplomacy.
General Affairs Council, 27 June 2023
Ministers will focus on preparations for the upcoming European Council and European electoral law. They are also expected to approve the 2023 country-specific recommendations and endorse the 18-month programme of the Council.
European Council, 29-30 June 2023
EU leaders will address the situation in Ukraine as well as focus on economy, security and defence, migration and external relations.
