Informal European Council, 9 May in Sibiu, Romania

The Informal European Council will bring together EU heads of state or government in Sibiu, Romania on 9 May 2019. The summit will be hosted by Klaus Iohannis, President of Romania, which currently holds the Presidency of the Council. The President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, will chair the meeting. He will represent the EU together with the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.

The accreditation procedure for this meeting is now open and journalists can apply for media accreditation on-line. Please apply for accreditation by 29th April 2019. The opportunities for last minute accreditations are limited and could cause delays.
