Please join us on Tuesday, April 09, 2019, for a telephonic press briefing with Brian Hook, U.S. Special Representative for Iran and Senior Policy Advisor to the Secretary of State, and Ambassador-at-Large Nathan Sales, Coordinator for Counterterrorism at the State Department.  Special Representative Hook and Ambassador Sales will discuss the U.S. intent to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including its Qods Force, as a Foreign Terrorist Organization (FTO) under section 219 of the Immigration and Nationality Act.  This designation is a historic step to counter Iran-backed terrorism around the world.  The speakers will take questions from participating journalists.
