Please join us on Thursday, June 24, for a telephonic press briefing with Joey Hood, Acting Assistant Secretary (AA/S) for Near Eastern Affair at the U.S. Department of State. AA/S Hood will provide a readout of the June 23 Second Berlin Conference on Libya. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken led U.S. participation in the conference, which brought together the international community to support national elections in December 2021 and the progress the Libyan people have made towards an inclusive, negotiated, political solution. AA/S Hood will take questions from participating journalists.
