EVENT:
One decade, two continents: In this webinar, Admiral James Foggo will discuss how the distinct but interlinked maritime-security challenges of Europe and Africa have transformed over the past decade against the backdrop of revived great-power competition with Russia and China. The maritime postures of both the United States and NATO have changed dramatically in that time, as have the US Navy’s engagement and partnerships with local states around Africa in the face of maritime threats in North Africa, the Horn of Africa and the Gulf of Guinea.
