Please join on Thursday, June 27, 2019, for a telephonic press briefing with Ted McKinney, Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs, U.S. Department of Agriculture. Under Secretary McKinney will be in Brussels to address the importance of agriculture for US-EU trade relations with EU council representatives, commission officials, and members of parliament. Under Secretary McKinney is arriving to Brussels from Rome, Italy, where he led the U.S. delegation to the 41st Conference Session of United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) casting the U.S. vote for Director General.
He will also preview his travel after Brussels to Geneva, Switzerland, where he will lead the U.S. delegation to the 42nd Session of the FAO Codex Alimentarius Commission. Following a brief introduction, Under Secretary McKinney will take questions from participating journalists.
