Please join us on Friday, October 1, for a telephonic press briefing with with U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Wendy R. Sherman, who will be in Bern, Switzerland. She will take questions from participating journalists.
The Deputy Secretary will speak at the end of her visit to Switzerland. Her travel to Switzerland includes leading a U.S. interagency delegation to a September 30 U.S.-Russia bilateral Strategic Stability Dialogue, inaugurating the first U.S.-Swiss Strategic Partnership Dialogue on October 1, and engaging with Swiss civil society on apprenticeships and workforce development. Following her visit to Switzerland, the Deputy Secretary will travel to Uzbekistan, India, and Pakistan to meet with senior officials and civil society.
