On Monday 12 September, the Secretary-General of the European External Action Service (EEAS), Stefano Sannino, will hold a press conference to present the pilot project of the European Diplomatic Academy. The press conference will start at 10:30 in the briefing room at the ground floor of the EEAS Headquarters and will be held in-person only.
The project was initiated by the EEAS and is implemented by the College of Europe in Bruges/Natolin and aims at strengthening the EU’s external action through the creation of a true European diplomatic corps.
The participants come from EU Member States, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, Turkey, the Western Balkan countries and EU institutions. The programme has kicked off on 29 August in Natolin (Poland).
Some of the students will also participate in the press conference.
