The Iris Festival in the Communes: discover another Brussels
From 1 to 5 May, the Brussels-Capital Region will be celebrating its 30th anniversary at the Iris Festival. This year’s will be an extra-long edition, with many free activities and festivities to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Brussels’ tram. On Saturday 4 May, in addition to Europe Day, the European Tram Driver Championships and the concerts on Place des palais/Paleizenplein, there will be a new edition of the “Iris Festival in the Communes”. Four Brussels communes will introduce tourists and locals to unusual and hidden gems. This time, the communes of the City of Brussels, Ganshoren, Berchem-Sainte-Agathe/Sint-Agatha-Berchem and Koekelberg will be in the spotlight.
