After two years of cancellation and a hybrid format, the public celebrated 33 years of the Brussels-Capital Region in large numbers this weekend at the Iris Festival. On Saturday, the Electro Night brought together almost 15,000 people on place des Palais, over the whole evening. Countless original activities were also offered to the public who came in droves to take part in this festive weekend. Between the centenary of Brussels’ garden cities, Europe Day, the Iris Food Corner and the themed villages, there was something for everyone. It was a wonderful opportunity to get together and celebrate the joie de vivre that characterises the region and its inhabitants.
