High Representative/Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas will travel to Türkiye on 29-30 June, with Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos and Commissioner for Internal Affairs and Migration Magnus Brunner.
The High Representative and the Commissioners will meet Türkiye’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
This will be the second official visit to Türkiye of the High Representative. It will take place in the run-up to the NATO Summit in Ankara (7-8 July).
The visit will be an opportunity to review EU-Türkiye relations, discuss common challenges in an increasingly volatile geopolitical environment and explore additional avenues for cooperation, with Türkiye being a candidate country and a NATO Ally.
Audiovisual coverage of the High Representative/Vice-President’s engagements will be provided on EBS and X.
