On behalf of the Agricultural Research and Development Agency (ARDA), Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand, and in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy in Brussels, I am pleased to invite you to participate in a Focus Group Meeting with European Stakeholders and Private Sectors on

“Thailand’s Progress Toward Deforestation-Free Supply Chains and the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)”

The European Union’s Deforestation-Free Regulation (EUDR) aims to prevent deforestation and forest degradation linked to key commodities placed on or exported from the EU market. This regulation has far-reaching implications for both Thai and European businesses, particularly importers, exporters, and producers of natural rubber, coffee, palm oil, wood products, cocoa, soy, and cattle-related products.

This meeting is designed to:

  • Foster open dialoguebetween European and Thai stakeholders on EUDR readiness and implementation;
  • Gather business perspectiveson challenges, best practices, and technical needs for EUDR compliance; and
  • Present Thailand’s current progressin building traceable, deforestation-free supply chains.

We would like to invite representatives from European business operators, trade and business associations, importers, and other relevant supply chain actors to share their best practices and challenges on EUDRPlease kindly share this invitation among colleagues and your company members whom you think might be interested.
