European Commission Decision on My Voice, My Choice
On Thursday, February 26th, the European Commission will announce its final decision on the European Citizens’ Initiative My Voice, My Choice, which gathered 1,124,513 verified signatures across the European Union and reached the national threshold in nineteen Member States. The response will be made public on Thursday in the early afternoon.
The initiative calls for the creation of a European financial mechanism to ensure access to safe abortion care for women who cannot access it in their home countries.
Following the Commission’s decision, we invite you to a press conference to provide immediate reaction and outline the next steps.
Speakers will include:
