Launch of EU Parliament Scoreboard by Leading Environment and Climate Organisations
Debate with MEPs and European Political Party representatives,
with speakers from Birdlife Europe, Climate Action Network (CAN) Europe,
The European Environment Bureau, Transport & Environment and the World Wildlife Fund.
Ahead of the European elections, five leading European environmental and climate organisations have conducted in-depth data research to identify the ‘protectors’, ‘procrastinators’ and ‘prehistoric thinkers’ of the outgoing European Parliament: the EU Parliament Scoreboard scores MEPs based on their voting records on legislation regarding the climate-neutral and socially just transition, nature positivity, and the circular economy / achieving zero pollution.
The scoreboard provides citizens with an interactive overview of the data to enable them to make informed choices in the ballot box, based on the environmental and climate issues that matter most to them.
