This event aims to analyze the current situation of illegal settlement, terrorists settlers crimes and its consequences, as well as explore avenues for legal, political and media responses.
Agenda: 10h00-11h00
* Analysis of crimes committed by Israeli settlers in Palestine.
* Critical examination of the official positions of the European Union and its member states regarding settlement: limits, consequences, and required actions.
* Presentations by lawyers, journalists, and political experts providing verified data directly from primary sources.
11h00 – 11h45 Press Conference:
A press conference will be held to announce:
- The official launch of the Legal Alliance Against Settlement, including the presentation of its initial action plan. First measure: pursuing European companies and institutions that deal with settlement and its various crimes.
Judicial prosecution of settlers, starting with those holding dual citizenships.
- The launch of a media project aimed at providing journalists, policymakers, and stakeholders with the information and tools necessary to understand settlement and its criminal ramifications.
- The publication of a joint statement and a letter of demands addressed to European institutions and international organizations, based on all UN resolutions, international law, decisions of international courts, and political positions rejecting settlement, criminalizing it, and classifying settler crimes against Palestinians and others as acts of terrorism.
