Dear journalists and news editors,

Following the success of the first edition, join us for the second breakfast briefing on the theme of climate change and its impact on our society, hosted by the Residence Palace International Press Centre, together with international, european and Belgian journalist associations.

This initiative is supported by the United Nations and the Belgian Federal Institute for Sustainable Development.

Background

The urgency of addressing climate change and sustainable development are critical social and economic issues that captivate public interest. A large majority of journalists (over 81%) are “very concerned” about climate change, according to a global survey directed by the IFJ.

We are therefore offering a series of on-the-record briefings tailored for journalists and news editors, featuring expert speakers who will provide valuable insights and resources for constructive journalism.

These breakfasts will be interactive and informal.
