Brussels Special Venues celebrates 20 years with anniversary edition of its Experience Event

  • Brussels Special Venues (BSV) celebrates its 20th anniversary
  • The Experience Event on 14 and 15 September celebrates Brussels as a leading MICE destination
  • Two days of guided tours through iconic and exceptional BSV venues
  • Exclusively for professional event organisers

BSV – Brussels Special Venues is a non-profit association that has been bringing together premium event venues in and around Brussels on a single platform since 2006. Its mission is to position Brussels as Europe’s leading event destination. Through venues.be, event organisers can compare a wide range of venues and contact them directly, free of commission and without intermediaries.

What started 20 years ago with just six venues has grown into a Brussels network of nearly 60 unique locations and more than 340 event spaces, ranging from iconic landmarks such as the Atomium, Tour & Taxis and BOZAR to contemporary event spaces, heritage venues and rooftop locations.

Heidi Martens, Association Manager at BSV: “Our capital is a true European MICE hub. Brussels is home to an outstanding collection of event venues, and together with visit.brussels and our members, we are proud to have been showcasing them for the past 20 years.”

The BSV Experience Event: discover Brussels through the eyes of an event professional

To celebrate its anniversary, BSV is organising a special edition of its triennial Experience Event on 14 and 15 September 2026. Over the course of two days, participants will discover Brussels as a leading MICE destination. The event is exclusively aimed at professional event organisers, including event agencies, corporate planners and association managers responsible for organising events, conferences, incentives and meetings.

The programme features guided tours through a carefully curated selection of BSV venues, including the Atomium, Tour & Taxis, BOZAR, KBR, Residence Palace and the brand-new KANAL-Centre Pompidou. Each day begins with a joint welcome at Plein Publiek, after which participants will explore the city and discover venues that each showcase Brussels’ diversity in terms of scale, atmosphere, infrastructure and character. The first day concludes with a festive walking dinner.

Places for the Experience Event are limited. Interested event organisers can apply via bsvshowtime.be. Applications close on 1 August 2026. Selected applicants will then receive a personal invitation to complete their registration.

In partnership with visit.brussels and our partners

The Experience Event is organised in partnership with visit.brussels and with the support of Brussels Booking Desk, Eurostar, Brussels Airlines, and hotel partners nhow, Cardo, Hilton, Warwick and Thon Hotels.
