Today, the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas and the Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman H.E Sayyid Bader bin Hamad bin Hamood Al Busaidi signed the Establishment Agreement for the new European Union Delegation to the Sultanate of Oman.
The Agreement provides the legal framework for the establishment and operation of the EU Delegation in Muscat, marking a significant step forward in deepening the partnership between the European Union and Oman and acknowledging the key role of Oman in the region.
The European Union and the Sultanate of Oman look forward to completing the preparations for the opening of the Delegation as soon as possible and to further strengthening their partnership.
