President of the European Council, António Costa, President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, met in New Delhi (India) on 27 January 2026 for the 16th summit between the European Union and India.
During the summit, the leaders agreed on a joint statement.
