From 17 to 19 February, High Representative/Vice-President Josep Borrell will participate in the 2023 Munich Security Conference (MSC).
Close to one year after Russia launched its war of aggression against Ukraine, the Conference is an opportunity to discuss with the world’s key decision-makers how to continue supporting Ukraine, how to address the war’s global impact, and how to reinforce alliances to stop the war and to defend the rules-based international order.
On Sunday, High Representative Borrell will deliver a keynote introduction and participate in a panel discussion on European Security, together with the Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.
Throughout the event, the High Representative will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with counterparts from all over the world. He will also represent the EU at the meeting of G7 Foreign Ministers convened by the G7 chairmanship Japan.
