The High Representative Borrell will travel to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 27 to 29 April. During his visit the High Representative will participate to a panel in the World Economic Forum and will hold several bilateral meetings with regional actors and participants to the forum.
On Sunday 28 April, the High Representative will participate in a panel discussion at the World Economic Forum Stakeholder dialogue: “North to South, East to West: Rebuilding Trust.” The session will be livestream.
In the margins of the Forum the HR/VP will have bilateral meetings with Saudi Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Hassan Shoukry; Jordanian Foreign Minister, Ayman Safadi;Turkish Foreign Minister, Hakan Fidan; Yemeni Head of Presidential Council and Rashad al and Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide.
His participation will offer an opportunity to exchange on how to shape progress on global and regional priorities within the current challenging geopolitical and geo-economic landscape; as well as discuss the current challenges stemming from the situation in the region.
