EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of the European Commission (HR/VP), Kaja Kallas, will travel to Saariselkä, Finland from 20 to 22 December to participate in the North-South Summit hosted by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. She will join Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, Greek Prime Minister Kyriákos Mitsotákis and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson to discuss key issues on European security, defence and preparedness, as well as migration, including the instrumentalisation of migration.
The High Representative/Vice-President will deliver press remarks ahead of the meeting on Saturday and will deliver press statements at the end of the summit on Sunday at ca. 10:40 am (CEST), available on EbS.
