On 7-8 October, High Representative/Vice-President Kaja Kallas will visit Lebanon.
On Wednesday, she will meet with the Minister of Social Affairs Ms Hanine El Sayed.
On Thursday, the HR/VP will hold bilateral meetings with the President of Lebanon, Joseph Aoun, and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. She will also meet with the Speaker of the Parliament, Nabih Berri, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Youssef Rajji.
The meeting with the Foreign Minister will be followed by a joint press conference at +/- 12:45 local Beirut time, which will be transmitted on EBS. During the visit, the HR/VP will participate in a European Peace Facility equipment handover. She will also join the Minister of Transport, Fayez Rasamny, for a visit to the Port of Beirut.
