On 07-08 September, High Representative/Vice-President (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas will travel to Vilnius, Lithuania.
On 07 September, the HR/VP will meet with the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda. She will then meet with the Lithuanian Prime Minister, Mindaugas Sinkevičius, after which they will deliver a joint statement to the press at 17:10 EEST. In the evening, HR/VP Kallas will meet representatives of the Lithuanian Women Diplomats’ Network and attend the reception marking the Annual Meeting of Heads of Lithuanian Diplomatic Missions.
On 08 September, HR/VP Kallas will hold bilateral meetings with Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Kęstutis Budrys, Minister of National Defence Robertas Kaunas and the Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament, Juozas Olekas. The HR/VP will take part in a fireside chat with Minister Budrys at the Annual Meeting of the Heads of Diplomatic Missions. Later that day, the HR/VP will visit Vilnius University for a discussion with students. The day will conclude with a visit to the Padvarionys Frontier Station.
