The Caribbean Chamber of Commerce presents the Caribbean Days’ promotion in the Capital of Europe

Brussels, April 30, 2024 – The Caribbean Chamber of Commerce in Europe (CCCE) is proud to present the second edition of the Caribbean Days’ promotion, which will be held at the Renaissance Brussels hotel from June 17 through 23, 2024.

The Caribbean Days’ is a series of business and cultural events to showcase ‘The Best of the Caribbean’, featuring a Caribbean Culinary Week at The Poet restaurant of the Renaissance Brussels hotel, the national Bartenders competition, in conjunction with UBB, the national Latin Dance competition, a Caribbean Literary evening and Live musical evening, as well as several trade workshops to promote Caribbean premium products, like Cocoa, Coffee, Rum & Spirits, as well as Cigars.

During the Caribbean Culinary Week, the award-winning celebrity Chef Orlando from Saint Lucia will be preparing a special 4-course Caribbean Gourmet Menu, in conjunction with Jérôme Ragon, executive chef, Renaissance Brussels; a unique opportunity to experience the finest Caribbean cuisine at special rate of 59 Euros.

Her Excellency Mrs. Symone Betton Nayo, Ambassador of Jamaica, and current Co-ordinator of the Caribbean Group of Ambassadors in Brussels (CGAB), said: ‘We welcome the Caribbean Days’ promotion in Brussels, as an excellent way to support ongoing efforts to increase the visibility and raise the profile of the Caribbean in Belgium, and across Continental Europe. The Caribbean Culinary Week will allow local, regional and international patrons in Belgium to experience the Caribbean’s rich cultural heritage through the region’s finest gastronomic flavours, artistic products and high-quality services.”
