On Friday 16th of September, the Business Alliance for TTIP invited the Brussels Press Corps for a breakfast briefing on the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) with the following speakers:

In a joint statement, 17 EU business associations recently sent a strong message of support for the ongoing TTIP negotiations (see here and attached). The business community highlights that the TTIP negotiations have not failed, that they must continue and that an ambitious and comprehensive agreement is the only viable option.
Following the TTIP stocktaking between Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström and U.S. Trade Representative Mike Froman on 15 September in Brussels, this media briefing will be an opportunity to hear from key business representatives about their perspectives on the TTIP debate.
