On the 26 March, the UK Mission to the European Union and the Alan Turing Institute hosted at the Press Club a panel discussion “AI Standards: The Road to International Collaboration” on 26 March.
The program featured the Cousellor of Economic Affairs, Rob Trotter; Director of AI Governance at the Alan Turing Institute, Dr. Florian Ostmann; and Head of Digital Standards Policy at the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Tech, Nikita Bhangu. An additional panel included the Head of the EU AI Office, Kilian Gross; the Secretary General of the EU Tech Alliance, Victoria de Posson; the AI and Cyber Sector Lead at the British Standards Institution, Laura Bishop; and the Senior Director of European Government Affairs at Microsoft, Jeremy Rollison.
